Delicious Moments: My Favorite Foods & Recipes π
Food is one of the best ways to experience different cultures and bring happiness into daily life. Among all the delicious dishes out there, my absolute favorites are Ayam Gepuk and Nasi Tomato. Plus, I love baking, and my go-to recipe is homemade cookies! Let’s explore why I love these foods and how to make them! π✨
Ayam Gepuk – The Spicy Indonesian Delight
Why I Love Ayam Gepuk?
Nasi Tomato – The Malaysian Classic
Why I Love Nasi Tomato?
Nasi Tomato (Tomato Rice) is a traditional Malaysian dish that is often served during weddings or special occasions. The rice is cooked with tomatoes, evaporated milk, and fragrant spices, making it rich, creamy, and slightly sweet. It’s best paired with Ayam Masak Merah (Spicy Tomato Chicken). I love it because:
✔️ It’s fragrant and flavourful.
✔️ It goes well with many dishes.
✔️ It’s comforting and nostalgic.
Especially Nasi Tomate made by my mom. It is really delicious and flavorful. Every time, I went back home from university, my mom will always make this dish for me. π
Homemade Cookies - Favourite Treats πͺ
I love baking cookies because it is the easiest one to do than cakes. One of the best things about baking cookies is that I can get creative! I can try different ingredients like chocolate chips, nuts, peanut butter, matcha, or even fruit to create new and unique flavors. There are endless possibilities! Baking cookies isn’t just for me. I love sharing them with family and friends! Seeing their smiles when they take the first bite makes me so happy. Cookies bring people together and create wonderful memories.
